Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine, with a written history of over 3,000 years. Extremely fine needles are inserted into points on the body on channels of energy known as ‘meridians’. Stimulation of these points has been found to have great curative and therapeutic effect on a wide range of conditions.

Acupuncture is an holistic form of medicine, meaning that health is viewed as a culmination of physical, mental and emotional well-being. Disharmony in any of these areas can lead to problems in other areas. Thus, acupuncture treats the whole person, not just a presenting symptom. The goal of acupuncture treatment is to treat the root cause of ill health, rather than suppressing the manifestation of the problem. |
